It’s Mikey’s Birthday!

It’s always a blast at Chevy’s, especially when it’s someone’s birthday… Real or not.

After today’s practice up in Vallejo, we all decided to head over to chevy’s for lunch. And while you might think that a birthday celebration at some restaurant is nothing special, this one was for two reasons.

1) it really wasn’t mikey’s birthday. (… when the waiters come around and start singing the birthday jingle unbeknownst to the non-birthday boy, it’s always a good laugh. Haha)

2) the Mexican sombrero, free from chevy’s, makes the Mexican, mikey, even more Mexican. It’s an inside joke. (he’s only half Mexican. ) jk mikey.

So here we are again. I’ve found a new reason to try blogging again. Inspiration comes in the form of an iPhone app called ‘wordpress’. Imagine that, a portable solution to blogging random thoughts whenever and more importantly, whereever I am. So virtually, you are all my guinea pigs here in witness to my first mobile post coming from my iPhone. (admittedly, I am writing this mobile post from my room, while sitting in front of my computer.) hehe.

Besides, I think this is a healthier and less intrusive alternative to twittering. (damn that thing is annoying)

You can attach pictures too! (this is the only interesting pic I’ve got right now. It the husband-to-be roger, passed out, mouth agape, on our flight to Portland for OSCON.)
