Got Choy?

Listen to yo' momma… Choy is good for you.

Check it. Got this link from my friend’s blog: “Anita’s Chopstix” Can’t stop laughing. Anjelah Johnson, former Raiderette, at the nail salon. If she keeps it up, I’m willing to bet that she’ll be somewhere in a couple of years. Ah, the magic of viral videos!

I’m sure that this may be old news for all you MadTV junkies, but I just came across these clips on YouTube.com of Bobby Lee, playing as Hideki, the Average Asian. This one is my favorite, especially the Ping Pong segment. (What’s up with Asians and ping pong anyways? ;) )

Taking a step back for a split second, it sure is a stark contrast to back in the day when Anna May Wong had struggled to make an impact in the American film industry. Now look where we are. When set in the right light, we’ve come to accept stereotyping Asians as humorous. Ironic, but it’s still funny as hell! hahaha. :)

So, this is old news, but wow, I didn’t realize how close to home this is going to hit should the 49ers really decide to move to Santa Clara! I was browsing through the official 49ers website and came across this article which details just exactly where they’re thinking about taking our ‘promising’ Niners. Take a look at this map. My place is just east of that pink arrow on the right side of the image. Who woulda thunk that the A’s would plan to migrate to my former home, the city of Fremont, and immediately after the 49ers would announce their intention to move to my current residence in the city of Santa Clara! Crazy.

Maybe I will be staying at this house through 2012 afterall, just so that I can be a part of an interesting transformation for this city and area! And maybe then, might I relive the glory days of my 80′s childhood and become a die-hard Niner fan once again! :-D

… so true.

Wow. Imagine that. Fremont is on the map. I saw this website a couple days ago and couldn’t believe it. The A’s are making way to coming to my hometown… Fremont, CA. What is only a 10 minute drive away from my current residence, will probably also be accessible by Amtrak which runs right passed that area. This move will also hopefully give BART a little momentum to extend their tracks further into the South Bay. I predict that the installment of Cisco Park will further spur the growing economical power that is called Fremont! Booyah!

It’s just like the California Angels of Anaheim, and how they put the little-known city of Anaheim on the map. It’s only a matter of time until Disneyland starts to realize the value of erecting a new park in this city too! I love Mickey Mouse! It’s a small world after all beatch!
