Got Choy?

Listen to yo' momma… Choy is good for you.

This may be old news to some, but there are emulators out there on the internet that allow you to play old skool Nintendo games from your web browser. Here is another another one of those websites with an emulator and a huge selection of games, including classics like Super Mario Brothers, The Legend of Zelda, and Metroid. Remember going to your friend’s place and getting drunk while playing Tecmo Bowl?? (Neither do I, but I remember Tecmo Bowl! :-P )

Naturally, I wanted to check out the game “Volleyball” as I never knew it existed for the Nintendo! What’s funny to note, is that they all bow at the endline before the start of the match just like they do in Chinese Nineman Volleyball! Haha. On a not so funny note, they also make love to their balls before they serve. I sh*t you not.

Don’t be jealous. I’m just badass, what can I say? My friend and I had VIP tickets to the John Mayer / Sheryl Crow concert this past weekend. Section 102, row M. We were really a stones throw away from the stage. But even as expensive as these tickets were, the familiar scent of weed always manages to find its way to you. Ha. But besides the great seats and the free weed, how else does “VIP” make me better than you, you wonder?

  1. Parking right next to the amphitheatre in the VIP lot
  2. Private entrance right next to the VIP parking lot
  3. A VIP lounge to mingle with other VIP people
  4. VIP bathrooms
  5. Dinner included in the VIP lounge
  6. Free VIP coffee and VIP hot chocolate

Although all of this sounds great, once your friends, who could only afford lawn seats in the nosebleed section, find out that you have access to free hot chocolate, you can instantly go from Mr. VIP to Mr. ‘hot chocolate’ messenger boy… JFYI!! So be careful. haha.

Oh yah, and the music was good too. =)

Check out the sidebar! I’m as giddy as a kid in a candy shop! I’ve just installed two new plug-ins to this thing I call a website and the Got Choy? experience has been enhanced!

  1. WPG2 – Embedded Gallery2 to the website. Not only is there an integrated photo gallery that displays my photos seamlessly under the My Photo Gallery link, but the site also displays a thumbnail to my “Newest Album” as well as a “Random Image” as you can see in the sidebar to the right! Whee!
  2. XSPF Player – A flash-based web application which plays mp3′s as listed in XSPF format. Currently, I’ve got my Summer 2006 hit list loaded =) Try it out!

Day 2 of gotchoy.com has been a success. I know, all of you are left thinking, what’s next Andrew?!? Well… I’ve got some things in mind. ;)

So I’ve finally found a domain name that I could live with and as well as found a blog publishing system that will integrate with my photo gallery which, when thrown together, will create a seamless blogging experience for all you avid blog readers and photo viewers. This site, once formally known as “soybeanchoy.com”, has been revamped with many more bells and whistles than in its previous version (which used to just have plain html with random hyperlinks… for you geek talkers out there).

Mind you, gotchoy.com is only at it’s infancy, but with my infallible determination and some of my die-hard work ethics (… and I know there are some skeptics out there), gotchoy.com will be the best one-stop shop for the most useful useless concoction of words and photos you will ever see! YESS!! *Beats chest with both hands*

I guarantee it, or I wouldn’t put my name on it! haha
